Welcome back, readers! This week we’re finally getting to know a little more about Mr. Wolf (Lowe Moreland aka Angsty Wolf Extraordinaire) and all the chips on his shoulder. Misery gets caught snooping around the Moreland home and Lowe slowly starts to fall for her.
Things heat up between the two as Lowe struggles to suppress his instincts. Plus, what we originally thought might be a story about loyalty and pack has also begun to morph into a conspiracy. What’s going on with Ana and how is Serena involved?
When Lowe joins the search, we discover some new things about Ana and Lowe’s past, further creating more questions for us and complications for Misery. Did we mention peanut butter is involved now?
Oh and… some mate discrepancies come up. He was so clear about it, Christy swears. But the question does remain on what it means to have a mate. Can Misery ever truly understand?

Hey readers! We’re back again with some vampire/werewolf romance. This time around we’re taking our first look at the popular paranormal romance Bride by Ali Hazelwood.
This one is a little different - we’re used to crazy but not like that. We’ve heard through the grapevine that some fanfiction tropes have finally made it to the mainstream, and honestly, we couldn’t be more thrilled!

2025 Podcast Highlights: Revisiting Zodiac Academy, Gaslighting Allegations, & the Drunken Twilight Episode That Wasn't Meant To Be

Hey listeners! It's been one hell of a year. To wrap up the past year we decided to go back and reminisce, laugh, and discuss some of our favorite things about the last three seasons - Zodiac Academy, the Empyrean Series, and Twilight!
We air our grievances and relive the mess that was our 2025 era. We're talking funny editing and behind the scenes stories, favorite moments and iconic characters, alleged gaslighting, and Brittany's aggressive Stray Kids fixation. Not to mention the drunken Twilight movie commentary episode that will absolutely stay locked in the vault...like forever.
It's unfiltered, unhinged, and totally us.
We are so grateful for how far we’ve come and how much support you’ve shown the podcast. We’d also love to hear anyone’s favorite moments from the past year, and we hope that you will continue to tune in as we dive into a whole new series.

Breaking Dawn: Chapters 34-39 | The Battle That Could've Been An Email

Sorry, everyone again. Mistake in the upload. It's been fixed to the current episode.
Welcome back readers! In the Breaking Dawn finale, everyone is bracing for war. The Volturi show up...and after four books of buildup, the series ends with a staring contest and some frustrating blue balls. It's all talk and no bite.
From the Volturi's dramatic entrance to the standoff that went absolutely nowhere, we're unpacking the most aggressively anticlimactic battle to ever not happen. It's an oddly wholesome yet extremely boring ending with lots of happily-ever-after vibes but no closure.
We dive into what it all means for Bella, Edward, Renesmee, Jacob, and the saga as a whole and share our honest reactions to these final...maybe...moments with these controversial characters.
We hope this episode helps you ring in the New Year with a laugh~ We finish the Twilight series with some laughs about the absolute ridiculousness of the last few chapters, from fart cloud sensory gifts to very seriously discussing the mechanics behind vampire tracking.

Breaking Dawn: Chapters 26-33 | The Cullens' Worst Holiday Plans Ever

Hey readers! This week’s episode is the beginning of the end - after Irina tattles on the Cullens about their sudden acquisition of a vampire child, chaos breaks loose. Alice’s disappearance sends waves through the family and the wolves as the rest of the Cullens start to prepare for the arrival of the Volturi.
The only solution? Other vamps ofc! Possibly the best part of Breaking Dawn is getting to meet all the different vamps willing to come to Carlisle’s aid. Plus, Bella gets to play sneaky games on the side as Alice leaves her clues on what to do.

Eclipse: Chapters 22-Epilogue | Tent Scene Temp Check — It's Giving Frostbite and Feels

This week on the Midnight Reader’s Podcast we discuss the end of the third book of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse. Admittedly, this episode is totally off the walls - we discuss werewolf physics, Jacob’s absolutely insane behavior during the tent scene, and… are we actually liking Edward in this section?
